Architect billion-scale approximate nearest neighbor (ANN) vector indices and hybrid
search retrieval engines powering enterprise RAG solutions.

## Key Responsibilities:

 * Deploy, shard, and optimize high-concurrency vector database deployments (Qdrant,
   Milvus, Pinecone, pgvector).
 * Design hybrid retrieval pipelines combining dense embeddings (HNSW, ScaNN) with
   sparse BM25 lexical ranking and reciprocal rank fusion (RRF).
 * Implement adaptive chunking, semantic deduplication, and dynamic metadata filtering
   for multi-tenant document corpora.
 * Benchmark retrieval recall, latency, and index memory footprints across diverse
   embedding dimension sizes.

## What You Bring:

 * 6+ years of distributed systems and database engineering experience, with 2+ 
   years focused on vector indexing.
 * Deep understanding of vector quantization (Scalar, Product Quantization) and 
   ANN index data structures.
 * Proficiency in Go, Rust, or modern Python with distributed Kubernetes operations
   experience.
 * Familiarity with embedding model fine-tuning and retrieval evaluation metrics(
   NDCG@K, MRR).
